英国 伦敦大学亚非学院将在2020年9月开始接受Duolingo和LanguageCert在线测试

 伦敦大学亚非学院将在2020年9月开始接受Duolingo和LanguageCert在线测试。

 

Due to the closures of IELTS test centres in response toCOVID-19, we appreciate that many students wishing to study in the UK will be experiencing some anxiety with regards to English Language requirements.  With this in mind, SOAS will now be accepting both Duolingo and LanguageCert online tests for the September 2020 intake.

We are also making some temporary changes to the pre-sessional and in-sessional requirements (for September 2020 intake only).  These changes are as follows:

 

Direct entry 

- Duolingo: 130

- LanguageCert (Level C1): High Pass 

 

Previously 4 week pre-sessional --> Direct entry with (in-sessional support)

- Duolingo: 120

- LanguageCert (Level C1): Pass

 

Previously 8 week pre-sessional --> 4 week pre-sessional 

- Duolingo: 110

- LanguageCert (Level B2): High Pass

 

Previously 12 week pre-sessional --> 8 week pre-sessional 

- Duolingo: 100

- LanguageCert (Level B2): Pass

 

We hope that this greater flexibility will provide those students who were unable to take IELTS with an alternative means to apply to SOAS.
